Yes They Can Program

The next few years we could see crimes against local businesses and families climb to the highest level with the outer-ring suburbs close to major highways population gains were seen in all first- and second-tier suburbs, led by Southfield according to research from Data Driven Detroit.

My husband and co-founder, Lynn Sanders also a retired 25 plus year veteran with the Michigan Department of State Police and past Youth Football Coach within the City of Southfield is keenly aware of that juveniles accounted for 13.7% of all violent crime arrests and 22.5% of all property crime arrests. In 2010, 784 juveniles were arrested for murder, 2,198 for forcible rape, and 35,001 for aggravated assault.
In a voluntary, combined attack, you can contribute and team-up with us at Eagles Nest Montessori YES THEY CAN program to help change the social fabric of our youth at childhood to prevent juvenile crimes, offenses and violations.

YES THEY CAN will contribute to helping us sponsor 20 underprivileged children as well as monitoring their yearly progress. This program will include 20 Metro Detroit children from low-income families that will be enrolled at Eagles Nest Montessori from your financial support. We will show how Eagles Nest Montessori teacher training and school works, can be expanded in our area and delivered to the most vulnerable communities. It has the added advantage of building for the future and creating transferable skills that will accompany both adults and children wherever their final destination may be.

We need your support to help us empower 20 underprivileged children. The cost per student for our program is $9,125.00. These costs include Tuition, Uniforms, food and field trip expenses. In order for us to enroll 20 students into our program, we are looking to raise $227,500 for the 2015-2016 school year. This cost will include adding additional staff to assist with educating our students. We look to add a foreign language and music to our curriculum. Please, help us cut into this cost by contributing to Eagles Nest Montessori YES THEY CAN program and help us collectively defend what’s currently going on around Southeastern Michigan. Eagles Nest Montessori creates an understanding that each life has value and each life has purpose. Take some time and read the awesome article on our school and our mission for each child that enters into our program.

Right now, before you’re reminded by another frightening newscast, won’t you walk to your desk and write a check to Eagles Nest Montessori and make a monetary donation? It’s one positive way you can share in this urgent business of saving lives and perhaps even our surrounding cities.

Please contribute whatever you can afford to our program so we can strengthen our county and community one child and family at a time. You don’t have to contribute thousands of dollars to make a difference. If enough people band together to give $100, $50, or $25, we can stand up to violent criminals by changing their mindset early. Every bit helps! You can contribute securely online by going to www.eaglesnestmontessori.com. Or you can mail checks to Eagles Nest Montessori, Inc. 23666 Southfield Rd., Southfield, MI. 48075.

Thank you for your consideration. Together we will continue to move kids in a better direction.

Sincerely,

Mr. Lynn and Katherine L. Sanders
